Walkom's Valumart
Walkom's Valumart is a full service grocery store with fresh meat, fresh produce, fresh instore bakery, fresh deli with fresh daily made cold and hot sandwiches, salads and sliced meats. Hot foods available with both lunch and dinner specials. Hot food includes BBQ chicken, pressure fried chicken, chicken wings, chicken fingers, hot sandwiches and potatoes. DVD rental are available. We also have a year round home and garden center located across the road from our main building.
Walkom’s Valumart is operated by life long residents of Mitchell Steve and Terry Walkom. Steve and Terry are active members of the community who both volunteer throughout the community. You are most likely to see them at the Mitchell arena helping Mitchell Minor Sports or helping to cater meals for the Royal Canadian Legion.
