Spring summons the harmonic sound of the Mitchell Optimist Music Festival. This April event will feature a Friday evening concert with performances by some of Ontario’s raising rising stars in singing, instrumentals and step dance.

In June, dancers and fiddlers of all ages take the stage for the Mitchell Fiddlers and Steppers’ Jamboree.

The local music studio across for from the town’s cenotaph invites you to join in their ‘Random Acts of Music’ on Saturday afternoons, September through June from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. It doesn’t matter whether you play an instrument, sing or just listen; everyone is welcome to participate in these folk and country jam sessions.
